The Utah Way
CompUtah is committed to ensuring that every person that needs a computer has one. Refurbished devices are an affordable and sustainable way for all Utah families to begin their journey of self-reliance and succeeding in a digital economy. Below are partner programs working to bridge the digital divide in every corner of the state.
Salt Lake City
Salt Lake City refurbishes and donates surplus laptops to local nonprofits through its Computers for the Community Program. This ongoing grant program helps provide devices and ensures community members stay digitally connected.
Davis School District
Davis School District and the Davis Education Foundation provide devices and funding for refurbishment through their Computer for Kids program. They partner with Service Source, a workforce training provider for individuals with disabilities, to refurbish computers and provide them to adults and children in need.
TechCharities
TechCharities has been providing tens of thousands of refurbished desktops, laptops, and Chromebooks to individuals and digital skill programs across the Wasatch Front, rural Utah, and Africa for over a decade.
Provo City
Provo City refurbishes and donates retired devices to the Adopt-a-Computer program. This program provides computers annually to low-income adults who complete 10 hours of training at a United Way of Utah County community center.
